Princess Lily and the Hair Fairy is a very imaginative story that will have children and parents wondering if it’s true. If you believe in the Tooth Fairy collecting lost teeth, you’ll believe in the Hair Fairy, who collects hair from children who lose theirs. Author Sarah Bankuti has written a wonderful and enchanting story of what happens to the hair that children lose due to illness. Children experiencing illness, undergoing cancer treatments, and others who believe in princesses and fairies will enjoy reading this captivating fairy tale alone or with parents. Colorful illustrations fill the pages of this charming new book, part of a series of books for children with or without illnesses. Illustrator Kristina Dutton paints appealing, warm, and inviting images throughout the book. She takes you on a journey to see Fairy Meadows. I love how the story begins with a cursive word, rather than a dropped cap.

The warm colors in the illustrations will attract children to open Princess Lily and the Hair Fairy and the adventure will sweep them away to a magical land of fairies, pixies, and elves. Illustrator Kristina Dutton creates stunning artwork to carry us off to a magical place of make-believe. Author Sarah Bankuti has written an endearing and lovely tale of a princess who goes with the Hair Fairy to learn more about fairies and what they do with the hair they collect. Children who love to dress up as princesses or fairies will enjoy reading this newest book in the Princess Lily series.

Princess Lily and the Hair Fairy is also available as a paperback, eBook or audio book on Amazon.

We received this as a gift for my son who has Leukemia and he loves it! It comes with a mini wooden fairy door that we decorated together, this really helped the story become real! We have the fairy door on the wall in his room and he writes to his special fairy.
